How to plan holiday decor from a photo
Your café hall, shop window, reception or entrance — in good light with nobody in the frame. A wider angle tells the AI where the tree and lights can go.
Café, shop window, office, salon, entrance or a Scandinavian style. Name your brand colors in words and what must stay put: furniture, signs, walkways.
The prompt is in the field and Nano Banana is selected. Pick a format close to your photo: 3:4 or 4:3 for phone shots, 16:9 for a wide hall.
Ask for “less decor”, “warmer light”, “tree in the right corner”. Show the best version to your manager or contractor — or animate it into a short clip.

Planning New Year decor from a photo shows your café, office, store or shop window decorated before you buy a single string of lights. Attach a photo of the space without people, pick a style and palette, and Nano Banana adds the decor while keeping the layout. Animate the result with the New Year video greeting tool, use it in a New Year banner, or turn a rough floor sketch into a full interior with sketch to render. Branded holiday cards are on holiday cards for clients.
Cafés, restaurants and bars
Decorate what guests see from the door and what ends up in their photos: the bar, the windows, one feature wall and the tables. Ask the AI to keep seating and walkways — “tables and chairs stay where they are, walkways clear” — and add lights on the windows, a lit fir garland over the bar, candles on the tables. Compare two looks, classic red, green and gold versus Scandinavian wood and white light, and pick the one that fits your interior and menu. Holiday menu shots come from AI food photography.
Shop windows, offices and entrances
A shop window works as free advertising, so shoot it straight on, without glare or reflections of people, and keep the sign and products in place: the AI adds lights around the frame, snowflakes on the glass, fir and gifts on the display. Check lettering on the glass and sign — it can get distorted. In offices, people usually decorate the reception, the meeting room and the kitchen; name your brand colors and attach the logo if you want it on an ornament or a sign by the tree. The matching holiday post comes from the New Year message to clients tool.

How do I plan holiday decor from a photo?
Photograph the hall, shop window or reception with nobody in the frame, attach it and pick a direction. The prompt is already in the Studio field — press Send and the AI adds the decor while keeping the layout.
Will the furniture and signs stay the same?
Usually — if you ask directly: “keep the furniture, walls, windows and signs as in the photo, same angle”; the ready directions already say this. Lettering on signs can get distorted, so check it. If something moved, attach the original again and retry.
How much does a version cost?
One version on Nano Banana costs 3 credits; on Nano Banana 2 and 2 Pro it costs 7. The Studio shows the price of the selected version before you send, and new users get free starter credits.
Can I upload photos with guests or staff?
No: shoot the space without people. The AI may alter faces, and decor mock-ups don't need people anyway. Please don't upload photos of children.
Can the decor match my brand colors?
Yes: name the colors in words — “navy and gold”, “white and natural wood” — and attach your logo if you want it on an ornament, ribbon or sign. One palette for the whole space looks more polished than many colors.
Can I turn the decorated space into a video?
Yes: download the image and animate it with the New Year video greeting tool — lights twinkle, snow falls outside the window. A 480p · 5-second clip costs 20 credits; your first successful one costs 10.
