Architecture and Interior Sketch to Render AI
Snap a hand sketch or screenshot a SketchUp view — the AI turns the lines into a photorealistic render of an interior, facade, garden or furniture.

How to turn a sketch into a render in 3 steps
Photograph the drawing straight on in even light, or screenshot a SketchUp, Revit or ArchiCAD view with the interface panels hidden.
Pick a direction — interior, facade, garden, furniture — then set the style, finishes and time of day. Ask the AI to keep the sketch's viewpoint and layout.
In the Studio leave the format on Auto so the frame matches your sketch, and hit Send. Swap materials and lighting in the prompt to show a client several takes on one idea.

Sketch to render AI takes you from a rough drawing to a photorealistic image without modeling a scene, assigning materials or tuning a render engine. Nano Banana reads your lines as walls, openings and furniture and fills in finishes, light and shadow, usually keeping your viewpoint if asked. Architects use it to turn a sketch into an image and show a concept early; interior designers, to compare finish options before detailed design. Need a picture from scratch? Use the AI image generator. Prepare a render for print with image upscaling. Generation runs in the Zerocoder Studio.
How to prepare a sketch or screenshot
The AI only sees what's in the image, so the input matters. Photograph the sketch straight on, in even light, with no phone shadow, and let the sheet fill the frame. Faint pencil lines are worth going over with a marker or boosting in contrast. Take SketchUp, ArchiCAD or Revit screenshots with the interface hidden, a clear perspective and no half-empty sky. An untextured model works fine too — materials are set in words.
Sketch to render: what to write in the prompt
Say what's in the drawing and what must stay: “this is a sketch of a kitchen-living room, keep the viewpoint, walls, windows and furniture layout as drawn”. Then materials — floor, walls, cabinetry, textiles: “oak, white plaster, graphite upholstery”. Then light and time of day: daylight from the window, warm evening, sunset for a facade. Finish by removing the sketch traces: “no pencil lines, labels or dimensions”. To show alternatives, change only the materials — the composition stays comparable.
Architectural sketch to render: where it works and where it doesn't
It works best for interior concepts, house facades and massing studies, gardens, furniture and products: anywhere you need to show mood, materials and light quickly. An interior sketch render helps settle finishes before detailed design; for a facade, it shows a client the building's volume and materials. The weak spot is precision: dimensions, wall thickness and small details aren't held, and text or dimension lines may get distorted. That makes it a tool for the concept stage and client sign-off, not a substitute for construction drawings.

How does sketch to render AI work?
You upload a photo of a sketch or a model screenshot and describe the materials, style and lighting. Nano Banana reads the lines as walls, openings and furniture and turns them into a photorealistic image — the viewpoint usually holds if you ask for it.
How is this different from a generic sketch to image AI?
A generic sketch to image AI may treat your drawing as loose inspiration. Here the presets ask the model to keep your viewpoint, walls and layout, and it usually does — you change materials and light, not the composition. Exact sizes aren't guaranteed.
Is it free?
Sign-up is free — with Google, an email code or Telegram — and new users get free starter credits to begin with. After that Studio plans apply.
What kind of sketch works best?
A pencil or marker sketch photographed straight on in good light, or a scanned drawing. Confident lines and a clean background help the model read your intent. Files up to 3.5 MB attach here; the Studio takes up to 4 images of up to 12 MB.
Can I upload a SketchUp or Revit screenshot?
Yes, a screenshot of any 3D view works: SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, Blender. Hide the interface panels, keep a clear perspective, and set the materials and lighting in the prompt.
Will proportions and dimensions be kept?
Composition and viewpoint usually hold if you ask for it; if not, generate again or switch the model version to Nano Banana 2 Pro in the Studio. Exact dimensions and wall thickness don't hold: this is a concept visualization, not construction drawings.
Does it work for architectural sketches and gardens?
Yes: say it's a house facade or a garden plan and describe the materials — brick, smooth plaster, wood siding, lawn, paving. The viewpoint and proportions come from your drawing; time of day and season are set in words.
Can I turn an interior sketch into a render?
Yes, it's the most common case: name the room, ask to keep the walls, windows and furniture as drawn, and list the floor, wall and textile finishes. For options, keep the sketch and change only the materials — “a light oak version”, “a dark stone version”.
Can it turn a floor plan into a 3D view?
You can ask for an isometric top-down visualization of the plan with walls, furniture and flooring. It works for presenting an idea, but the model renders dimensions and wall thickness only approximately.
What if a generation fails?
If a generation fails with an error, the credits are refunded automatically. Successful renders download without visible watermarks, ready for a presentation — just tell the client it's a concept.
