How to make a video greeting in 4 steps
A card with your logo, the logo on a clean background, a product shot or a decorated space without people. The clearer the main subject, the cleaner the motion.
What moves and what you hear: “snow falls, the string lights twinkle, the camera slowly pushes in, bells chime”. Or click a card and the prompt fills in.
Seedance, 480p, 5 seconds and 16:9 are already set; switch to 9:16 for Stories. Nothing is generated until you press Send.
Download the MP4, add your greeting and company sign-off in a video editor, and send it to clients by messenger, email or a social post.

A New Year video greeting for clients is a short clip made from what your company already has: a card, a logo, a product or a decorated space. Seedance brings the frame to life — snow, lights, sparkle, sound — and you add the words. Write the message that goes with it using the New Year message to clients tool, make a cover for the post with the New Year banner maker, and design the card itself with holiday cards for clients. To animate any other photo, use Animate a photo; for a branded intro, try AI logo animation.
What to animate: a card, a logo or a shop window
Frames come alive best when the scene suggests the motion: snow outside a window, string lights, a candle flame, steam over a cup, glints on ornaments. The model uses your finished card as a reference and adds snowfall and twinkling lights. Put your logo inside a snow globe or spell it out in lights, or set your product under the tree. A photo of your café, store or office works too if nobody is in the frame — and New Year decor from a photo shows how to dress the space first.
Adding the greeting and logo without distortion
Video models distort lettering, so ask for a scene with no text and add the words in a video editor: a “Happy New Year!” caption, your company name, your website. Put the original logo file on the last frame so the mark stays exact. Seedance handles speech poorly — record the voice yourself or stick to music and captions. Turn the clip into a GIF for email, cut extra seconds with the video trimmer and shrink the file with video compression.

How do I make a New Year video greeting for clients?
Attach your card, logo or a photo of your decorated space, pick a scene or describe the motion, and hit Create video. The Studio opens with Seedance selected, the 480p · 5-second option set and the prompt in the field — check it and press Send.
How much does a clip cost?
The 480p · 5-second option costs 20 credits, and your first successful clip costs 10 thanks to the 50% first-video discount. 720p, 1080p and longer clips cost more — the Studio shows the exact price before you send. If a render fails, the credits come back automatically.
What works best?
A card with your logo, the logo on a clean background, a product, or a decorated space with no people. The simpler the scene and the clearer the subject, the cleaner the motion: snow, lights, a candle flame, steam, sparkle.
Can I make a Santa video or film my team?
No. As a rule, Seedance declines photos of real people under the model provider's rules, and the tool doesn't make talking characters. Build the clip around your card, logo, product or a space with no people in it. Please don't upload photos of children.
Will the AI speak the greeting?
Video models handle speech poorly, so ask only for ambient sound: bells, a crackling fire, soft snow. Add the words as a caption in a video editor or record the voice yourself — and repeat them in the message text.
Which format should I choose?
The page opens landscape 16:9 — for email, websites and slides. For Stories, Reels and messengers, switch to vertical 9:16 in the Studio with one tap. Clips run 4 to 12 seconds, 5 by default.
Is there a watermark?
No visible watermark: you download a clean MP4. If a generation fails, the credits are refunded automatically; a clip you simply don't like is not refunded.
