How an AI checker differs from a basic spell checker
Classic checkers in Word or the browser compare words against a dictionary: they will flag "teh" but miss "their" used instead of "there", a wrong verb form, or a missing comma after an introductory clause. A language model reads the whole sentence, so it catches real-word errors, agreement slips and confusable words that depend on meaning. You can also interrogate it: ask why a comma belongs in a particular spot and get the rule explained like a tutor would. How to get the most accurate check
